stuckincincy Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Let's break this down. In my origional Post #49 which YOU responded to, I said I DO NOT CARE ABOUT HIS ABILITY AS A RECEIVER. He has far more value as a GREAT returner than some people realize. Do you have a revised version of your opinion about Fitzpatrick, yet?

Flbillsfan#1 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Fair enough. I have been wrong before, & am mature enough to admit it when I am. I hope I prematurely judged Fitz wrongly.

He proved to be a quick study after a few games, filling in for Palmer. Seems these days, that practice working out timing with receivers means a lot.
RyanC883 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 The question is not whether to use Roscoe more on offense, or whether he's better than Reed. The question is whether to trade him outright. The article on the front page of TBD suggests that Roscoe is a luxury. Bullcrap. Wendling is a luxury. Justin Jenkins is a luxury. 8 DBs is a luxury. Having a dynamic special teams player who makes the offense's job easier is not a luxury for this team, it's a necessity. Bingo. This "luxury" thing is total crap. And our O needs all the help it can get in terms of starting position.
