PromoTheRobot Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 We have a great offense...with a god-awful O-line. No run blocking. No pass protection. Other than that we're awesome. PTR
crazyDingo Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 "We want to keep the game close and win it at the end."
Simon Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I will have to go back and take a look at this between the tackles blocking....I really expected better running here I've gotten the sense that Wood has had a less than stellar night. Sluggish and less than alert at times.
KOKBILLS Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Kids are stupid, and even they boo Jauron. : ( That was a pretty loud boo!!! Doubt it woke Ol' Dead Dick up though...
The Dean Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Why, you are behind. You use all the you have available, if you are up I agree. I dont understand why'd call that horrible. You do understand that was the end of the FIRST quarter? And they were down by three points?
Wing Man Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 When you're at home, always play for the tie. Dick Jauron
Erik Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I guess the only real defense is that you'll be looking at guys like T.O., Stevie J., and Hardy in those situations during the regular season and since they're out might as well try a draw.
bladiebla Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 You do understand that was the end of the FIRST quarter? And they were down by three points? Yes, educate me plz.
The Dean Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 When you're at home, always play for the tie. Dick Jauron While I didn't like the call (why kick that FG in a preseason game?), kicking a tying FG in the second quarter is hardly "playing for a tie".
Simon Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I guess the only real defense is that you'll be looking at guys like T.O., Stevie J., and Hardy in those situations during the regular season and since they're out might as well try a draw. Hoe about letting Nelson run a route and seeing of young Trent is smart enough to protect teh ball there? That was just mindless stupidity instead
Kgun5 Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 You do understand that was the end of the FIRST quarter? And they were down by three points? ...And I stand by my critisism of a tenths-of-a-second digit that is always a zero!
Erik Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Wow, the Bears better hope Cutler stays healthy...
/dev/null Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 We have a great offense...with a god-awful O-line. That's a contradictory statement Any great offense starts with a great offensive line. You can have great skill players, but no holes for the RB or not enough time for the QB will kill most drives
/dev/null Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 TE 10 for 10, awesome And yet the Bills have 3 points
bills44 Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 TE 10 for 10, awesome ...for 79 yards, 36 of which came on 1 play
