H2o Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Two drives that have both ended with INT's. I know it's just the preseason, but I'm sure Broncos fans will be crying over Cutler this year. They will go 6-10 or worse, IMO.

John from Riverside Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Holy crap....Orton just threw a third INT

FloridaSnow Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I wouldn't be shocked if Chris Simms was the starter at some point. The kid has some talent and was doing moderately well for Tampa before he got hurt. Either way, I think they'll definitely miss Cutler. He didn't play defense but he at least kept them in games and gave them an opportunity to win. Their D was horrible against Buffalo, but Cutler gave them multiple chances to win.
FluffHead Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 the broncos will be drafting in the top 5 next year. Too bad, they traded their 1st round pick in 2010 to Seattle for the pick that turned out to be CB Alphonso Smith. Silly broncos. Great deal for Seattle

You don't give up quality starting qbs or lts in this league. Rle of thumb the broncos just broke, and one other team....

They will go 6-10 or worse, IMO. A team has a probowl QB on its roster and the new head coach tries to trade for a QB who's had one great starting year with an uber talented offense around him? WTF, how they can think it won't get out and it won't P.O. their QB to holy hell is beyond me. I love how they seemed to have a, just deal with it attitude about the situation. I wonder what McDaniels would think if he heard the team was trying to get another HC? From what I've heard Cutler wasn't the easiest to get along with. Supposedly he has an ego the size of Colorado but if he's a probowl QB you learn to work with him. I'm sure some HOF QB's were not the easiest people to deal with. There's a fine line between confident and cocky and I believe that he'll start to see the difference as he matures. JMO The Bears will be laughing about this for years to come and the Broncs will still be trying to find a replacement for him. Look at the number of high quality starters in this league and the number of busts taken in the drafts and it makes the situation that more laughable.
MattM Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I'm glad--I hope they really suck this year. I've hated them ever since my dad and I went out West to Denver to see the Bills-Broncos game earlier this decade. Their fans were just downright arrogant and obnoxious. We've traveled to a bunch of other places since then and they remain by far the worst folks we've encountered (although we haven't made it to Foxboro yet).....

He is far more like Jeff George than Brett Favre.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 They battle the Raiders yearly for worse managed team in football. I think this is a majorly overlooked fact in the national media. People talk about McDaniels like he's some kind of wunderkind but I've honestly never seen a first year coach completely sabotage his own team before. Even if you were to completely ignore the fact most of the Pats former coordinators turn out to be bad-below average head coaches, the Broncos now have to worry about their HC throwing his own players under the bus when things get hectic.

Once you get to Gillette Stadium you will change your tune on that one my friend. Hell you don't even have to get to the stadium, just walk through the Commons on a game day.

Thoner7 Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 If I owned the Broncos, I would have told McDaniels to get outta town before Cutler.

I mena how hard is it to score alot of points when you Brady, Moss, & welker on your team. And I say the replay of the game. Orton's picks were pretty bad, but he did drive teh team pretty well. One pick occured inside the 5. He's not that good but I won't kill him over one start with a brand new team. Both parties are at fault. The Broncos should have never tried to trade for Cassell (who will suck now that he left KC) but Cutler shouldn't acted like a huge baby. It's a business and besides, what has Cutler ever won outside of high school???
Nick the Greek Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 And also... Mario Haggan is a pass rushing beast. I miss Mario Haggan.. remember that blind sided hit he has against some Bronco like 2 years ago on a kick return.. it was just nasty
seadog Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I actually like Kyle better than Jay and think Orton will have a good season. Cutler seems a little immature in the head, has a great arm though. Denver has defensive issues that will take a couple of years to build up. Cutler does'nt have the weapons in Chicago he had in Denver. The Saints are loaded at QB with Brees, Brunell, and Harrington. I wish we could have signed a vet instead of Fitzpatrick.
BillsZubaz Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Chris Simms will be starting before the year is over.
