DwightSchrute Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 He's given up 2 sacks already... It's preseason, so he's gotta be rusty. But I'm going to pretend that the Bills are smart.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 He will get better as the season goes on I'm sure...but...for now...
buffalonian Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 He gave up two sacks then left the game with a quad injury. He started this season the way he ended last season: getting abused by the Pats.
Thoner7 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 How do you guys know? Here in Rochester all we have is the Pitt Ariz game. Meanwhile, both teams kept their starters in for 2 series (take note Dick), and Limas Sweed is tearing it up.
KD in CA Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Actually he's only given up one sack, but whatever.

buffalonian Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 How do you guys know? Here in Rochester all we have is the Pitt Ariz game. I'm watching the "Eagles Television Network, broadcasting from Scranton to Stone Harbor." Even the heavily biased Eagle commentators were concerned by JP's inability to pass block. Wait until they see him run block.

And remember, the Eagles are depending on Shawn Andrews at RT, and he has not shown up yet... Where's that Nelson sound byte?
5 Wide Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 When I gave up that sack, I couldn't help but think about my contract and maybe that's affecting me a little bit. I got all that money, I don't really care about football no more
buffalonian Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 And remember, the Eagles are depending on Shawn Andrews at RT, and he has not shown up yet... Where's that Nelson sound byte? Winston Justice was playing rt tonight and he looked as solid as Peters. Also Brad Celek got knocked out of the game with a shoulder injury. The Eagles are making the Bills look like they have a treasure trove of tight ends.

I'll have to wait on the news of Celek's injury. I actually had him targeted as a sleeper pick in this year for fantasy football.

But, but, but...the Eagles run a hard training camp and they're all well-conditioned, therefore injuries can't happen!
buffalonian Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 But, but, but...the Eagles run a hard training camp and they're all well-conditioned, therefore injuries can't happen! The Eagles have had a tough pre-season for injuries. I'm not sure what impact the Vick signing will have. I like McNabb, but he is overly sensitive. It will be interesting.

Assuming Vick is even any good after the long absence.
Adam Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 A Pro Bowl performance, to be sure! And just remember- we put him back at left tackle right when he showed up- ahead of our current left tackle......I'm so freaking happy I could burst.
