If you were a 29 year old guy going to the Bills Saints game with 2 buddies, where would you go after the game to continue partying? Keep in mind it's a late game and our driving motivational factor(s): ladies. I'm torn between:

1. Heading to Anchor Bar

2. Big Tree and other Orchard Park bars

3. Back to Chippewa/Allen

4. Something/place better that I haven't even thought of

What would you recommend?

If it is girls you are looking for just go to any dive down Southwestern. There you should be able to fine the finest heffers this city has to offer. They usually go around a deuce/deuce & 1/2 but it is all good when you got the beer goggles on right. Just remember when you take the pigglett of the evening back to your hotel room remember to strap a 2x4 around your ass, Buffalo women are a hearty bread & they are very rough under the sheets.

Hahaha, thanks a lot Gordo. That's hysterical...I'll remember the 2x4 tip...haven't heard that one before. I won't lie though, if that happens I'm afraid for my pelvis, I'm too young to have a plastic hip or anything like that.

1. If you are looking for women do not go to Anchor Bar. Anchor Bar is more of a tourist attraction, wings aren't that great and even though it's called a bar I don't know people that go there for it's party atmosphere.

2. The bars around the stadium and in OP are probably mostly going to have drunk dudes, since it's after the game and it will be about 7 pm.

3. I would say most locals your age (29) don't like Chippewa in the same way that locals in Vegas don't go to casinos on the strip. Also, Chippewa might not be that great on a Sunday night. You'd probably enjoy it, but it gets old if you live year round in Buffalo. That's why a lot of people always suggest Allentown and the Elmwood strip...more chill.

4. Chuckie Cheese?

Really? Great to know. Thanks a lot! So I'm thinking that we hit Orchard Park for a drink or two and then head back to Allen and Elmwood after the game. Thanks again for all the help!

I mentioned Rhino's and the Warehouse because they are close to the stadium. I haven't been to Rhino's after a game, so I can't comment on that. I went to the Warehouse after the Monday night game last year and it was decent, mostly dudes though. But I guess it's to be expected after a football game. I don't know if that matters to you, as I don't know if you're married or on the prowl or both. As for the Anchor bar, it has a very tight bar area, so I don't know how much fun you will have there, but have never gone after a Bills game so I don't know if it's any good. Are you staying in Buffalo Sunday night or OP?

Rhino's is closed. If you go to the big tree have ralph op83 buy you drinks. He is a bartender there. PS ralph tell danny thanks what I said would happen last year came true. Welcome back to Hammer's Lot #83 and family.

Chicks go to game too.

Sneak in and just wander around the local college dorms. Thats what I like to do

Hmm, that doesn't sound half bad but we don't want to get arrested. But still the college angle is interesting. Any college bars closeby? Or is that covered by Chippewa?

Anchor bar is in downtown Buffalo, nowhere near the stadium. Duff's "2" is near the stadium, but I would recommend the Warehouse or Rhino's. Rhino's has bands just about every night.

As for Saturday night, I would hit the Allen and Elmwood bars instead of Chippewa....

rhinos is closed... scratch that off...

my .02 cents, go to Duffs in orchard park (cant go wrong there). warehouse in blasdell, or buffalo sports garden (aka the BSG) in orchard park, all local good places for sports fun

Last year you all were so helpful while we were planning our trip up to Buffalo. I've got the Saturday night/Chippewa thing figured out - not too hard. I was curious what people do on Sunday after the game. Last year we stayed around Orchard Park and hit those bars on the corner and around the stadium. This year we have a 4:05 game vs. the Saints and I was wondering if you guys would recommend going to the Anchor Bar or something else. I think I remember reading about a bar that a lot of people go to watch the games and party afterwards down by the water. Is that the Anchor Bar or is there another bar. Basically we're looking for a fun place to go with a bunch of people (i.e. Buffalo's finest collection of chicks) partying after we beat the Saints. Any of your suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks again for all your help for us out-of-towners who like to come up and soak up all the Buffalo that we can handle!

They may have been referring to this place:

Ok, I didn't realize that Buff State was that close... Are there any places up on Elmwood that you'd recommend? Or cross streets where a few bars are located? Do you have to go up past the Scajaquada (sp?) Expressway?

Really? Is that a good place to go after a game you think? I just checked their site and this is their closing weekend. Do you think it would be fun on their last night open?

I don't think I've ever been. It's a bit of a hike to get to, especially if you have been pounding them.

Try these bars: Cole's, JP BUllfeathers, Frizzy's

Where are you coming from, by the way?

Cool, thanks. I just found Coles and that looks like a good Buff State spot. We're coming from Brooklyn.

Kenny--Buffalo is not known for their women, so be prepared to be happy talking to meaty 200 pounders with bangs and 80's hairstyles. I would avoid all of the bars near the stadium as you are going to be surrounded by drunk dudes wearing hunting gear, lol. You should likely head downtown, get changed at your hotel and hit the bars on Elmwood near Buffalo State. I'm a graduate and also lived in NYC for 8 years...you will be fine bar hopping those spots and if its weak, you can cab it down to Chippawa again.

Just remember though, a "9" type Buffalo chick is about a 4-5 anywhere else, so if you see anything remotely attractive, lock it down quickly.

I do miss Buffalo, but wow, I now live in San Diego and we are talking night and day my friend. People exercise here, lol.

Thank you, I appreciate that. I have been there before and am not expecting every chick to be a smokeshow, I just wanted to make sure we were at the right place to maximize any talent around. I actually lived in SD for a year, unreal. I think that's the plan though, Buff State bars post-game and hope there's signs of life. Last year we went out on Chippewa later after a 1pm game and it was like a ghost town.

Now onto the game - think we have a chance after what they did to Philly's d yesterday?!? We might need to play lights out d to hold them to 20 points.

I do not know what you are expecting. It is a friggin sunday night, & before you start making fun of buffalo's bar scene/night life, my guess is if you go to 99% of cities bar districts on sunday nights, they are probably dead also.

Don't listen to these guys Kenny, there are plenty of smokin' girls in Buffalo...you just need to know where to look.

That said, Sunday night will be tough, but Coles and JP Bullfeathers are your best bet on Elmwood. However, IMO the best option is Allentown--I would check out Sample, Hardware, Mother's, and Colter Bay, always a good range of females, but be prepared to buy plenty of drinks...Buffalo women don't often come cheap.
