ChicagoDan Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Not sure if this was on SC or ESPNnews last night (or both). They were asking TO about comparing his current situation to Dallas and he said that he had some good experiences in Dallas but that "I'm with Buffalo right now and so and focusing on that." (emphasis added) Most players would have said "Now I'm a Buffalo Bill" or something more definite and proud. For some reason the "right now" kinda bothered me--he seems to already be looking to his future somewhere else. I replayed it several times to make sure I got his inflection correctly and each time it bothered me more. I know we all know that he knows that we know that that is what he is thinking, etc, but it still bugged me he said like that. Hopefully his play will continue to excel as it did briefly last night regardless of whether he already considers us a one and done no matter what.

He's bound to say something that can be interpreted several different ways. Take it easy and don't let it bug you, he is with Buffalo right now...
San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 In answer to the question, annoyed? Nope, not annoyed. I guess it comes down to whether you would rather have some "canned" b.s. response (blowing smoke up your #ss) or would prefer a more honest answer. I prefer the honesty.
Ice Cold Bruschi Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 The guy has played for 3 other teams and gotten the bums rush out of all 3 of them, why would you expect the illusion of loyalty out of him?
WWVaBeach Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 It was actually during the game when Andrea Kramer was interviewing him. I noticed also and found it to be a little strange. I have a feeling it'll be a one and done for TO and the Bills.

I think you are trying to make more of it then what it is. The fact is he is continuosly asked about Dallas and what he thinks about being in Buffalo in his comment he stressed hes in BUFFALO NOW which means he is no longer in Dallas and a nice way to say enough already. But the comment I thought was funny was when he was asked during the game something to the effect of If i asked you if you saw yourself playing in Buffalo what would you say and TO stated I'd say what were you smoking!

nuklz2594 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 When the good Lord was passing out brains, T.O. was stuck in the nose line.
GOBILLS78 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Umm, he's Terrell Owens? This would almost be post-worthy if it were somebody like Lee Evans who said it.
GripnRip Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I would hate to watch any type of football with someone like you. Holy smokes.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 When the good Lord was passing out brains, T.O. was stuck in the nose line. You don't consider Terrell Owens to be an intelligent person?
deep2evans Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 You don't consider Terrell Owens to be an intelligent person? Yea I found that weird as well. Somehow, TO has been able to dominate coverage from a multi-billion dollar news conglomerate called ESPN. I call that smart.
