Offside Number 76 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Well, I'm not going to stay with the game just to see who Tennessee's fifth-string QB is...goodnight, all.
Steely Dan Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Well, I'm not going to stay with the game just to see who Tennessee's fifth-string QB is...goodnight, all. Good night. Bad game.
The Dean Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Oh, come on, Tennessee. Intentional safety? He screwed me on the spread!
John from Riverside Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 OK......the HC for the Titans is a @**$&$&$& D*$*
The Dean Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 OK......the HC for the Titans is a @**$&$&$& D*$* What happened, John?
scoring is not hardy Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Oh, come on, Tennessee. Intentional safety? They really wanted this game. I wonder if they have champagne in the locker room?
sven233 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 OK......the HC for the Titans is a @**$&$&$& D*$* Actually he was smart on that call. He is much better than Dicky J....
John from Riverside Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Preseason is supposed to be about working on your game.....WTF is up with all the trick play @hit in a preseason game How does this make them any better? Us any better?
SDS Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Actually he was smart on that call. He is much better than Dicky J.... why run out of the end zone though? Why not the one yard line?
Wing Man Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Recapitulation: or just Capitulation: We proved we could throw interceptions with any team in the NFL. Our OL was inconsistent and brilliant in places, which is pretty much what we expected. Our DL was pushed around like tissue paper. Hamdan was better than expected but was let down by his OL. On the balance, our first string offense looked good until the interception. Some players, like Hall should consider a career in the exciting food/service industry. Jenkins can almost push off and almost make catches from Losman in the UFL. Xavier Oman, who couldn't run past the line of scrimmage last year was a refreshing success. Owens caught two passes and looked like he was sucking lemons most of the game wondering how he can execute a trade back to Dallas.
extrahammer Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 why run out of the end zone though? Why not the one yard line? Because Jeff Fisher is like that. He loves tricks and stuff like that.
Indy Dave Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 why run out of the end zone though? Why not the one yard line? Simple: Gambling.
Bmwolf21 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 If I never hear Al Michaels sing the intro to "Good Ship Lollipop" ever again I can die a happy man.
SDS Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Because Jeff Fisher is like that. He loves tricks and stuff like that. that isn't a trick... I would think you would want to instruct the team not to give away points ever... there is a tie breaker that involves points against.
extrahammer Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 that isn't a trick... I would think you would want to instruct the team not to give away points ever... there is a tie breaker that involves points against. Tricks, mischief, stuff like that, I put them in the same category.
