BillsGuyInMalta Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I thought he looked pretty good until that floater to Lee that got picked....what the hell was that?? Levitre got knocked back into him...pretty hard to step up with a throw when your guard is chucked at you. Thats going to be the story all preseason and early season long unfortunately until Levitre learns to play with NFL leverage.
Billistic Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Edwards was better than Vince. Fisher was better than DICK. The 2nd half should be alternating and illuminating.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 So did Shaud Williams and Joe Burns a couple of years ago this month. Means nothing. It's our fourth-team running back. Weird story, I live in Shaud William's old apartment. I still get his mail from time to time.
TheChimp Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 The main goal of the no huddle is to limit/affect the ability of the defense to sub different packages - it doesn't necessarily have to be run very fast to be effective. Well watching this game, I guess we'll all stay in the dark as to what it takes for it to BE effective.
RayFinkle Posted August 10, 2009 Author Posted August 10, 2009 I thought he looked pretty good until that floater to Lee that got picked....what the hell was that?? That was called a rookie guard getting pushed 8 yards deep into the backfield.
BRH Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I thought he looked pretty good until that floater to Lee that got picked....what the hell was that?? That was the result of Levitre getting pushed into him as he threw. The ball sailed.

My bad, I didn't see that...Levitre has me a little worried, but Wood looks like a ringer! It's still early though...
bingosteve Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Remember: Pre-season games don't mean anything. Jauron is just laying a trap for Belichick. yeah...that's right...poor Belichick is in for a real kick in the nards come 9/14...ha, ha, ha! Well done, DICK! Isn't it ...Your DICK.....well done???
The Dean Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 That was the result of Levitre getting pushed into him as he threw. The ball sailed. The ball was already released, I think.
Offside Number 76 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 The ball was already released, I think. That's how I saw it.
BillsObserver Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 The ball was already released, I think. Not what the replay showed
The Dean Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Not what the replay showed Yes, I think it did. Edwards maybe didn't have the room to step into the throw, but he let it go before getting contact. I'll watch it again, though, if it is available.
TheChimp Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 The way Collinsworth explained it, the fact that Trent couldn't step into the throw is why it sailed.
Captain Caveman Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 palmer looking good it was nice seeing him get his helmet in young's back there.
BRH Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 The ball was already released, I think. Either way, he had no room to step into his throw.
Billistic Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Good thing that True Blood and Hung are on HBO tonight. This is Truly Forgettable.
