Dante
I know this isn't the proper forum but the FF one seems rarely used. Our draft is tomorrow and looking at the top 12-14 players, full time rb's are in short supply. Lots of teams using the committee . I'm scared of using a first round pick on a Chris Johnson type that may get lots of points taken away by Lindel White. I'm thinking if I can't get a MJD, Turner, Peterson, Forte,or Westbrook, I will go qb with my first pick. Bree's or Brady. Is this a bad strategy? Now if I get a lower pick, 10 or 11,I think the problem will take care of itself. Take Brees first and get a decent back on the 2nd pick. How is everyone else thinking with drafts coming up? Turn Down For Watkins
I know this isn't the proper forum but the FF one seems rarely used. That is pretty much the same method that I am thinking of using on my draft in a couple of weeks. If I can't get a Peterson, Turner or Forte than I am def. going either QB which would be Brees or WR whicn would be Fitzgerald or Andre Johnson. Something scares me about even picking MJD cuz he is so small and I can't really see him lasting all year and becoming a 30 or 35 carry guy, I'm not saying that small RB's aren't good but it's just that he has never been a full time starter before and that kinda scares me. SO my Top 5 bigboard would be Peterson, Turner, Forte, Brees and Fitzgerald.

Steely Dan
The scoring is a little different for my league. My league gives points for returns so. Some of these guys are ranked due to expected return yards too. # 1. Adrian Peterson # 2. Clinton Portis # 3. DeAngelo Williams # 4. Michael Turner - had 376 carries last year. I don't think he'll get the same number of carries this year. # 5. Matt Forte # 6. Steve Slaton # 7. Thomas Jones # 8. Andre Johnson - These guys are more important to a team than a RB, IMO # 9. Larry Fitzgerald - " # 10. Roddy White # 11. Steve Smith # 12. Brian Westbrook - might have lingering issues from his injury. I always prefer durable guys to injury prone guys. I doubt he starts all 16 games this year. # 13. Maurice Jones-Drew # 14. LaDainian Tomlinson - On the downside of his career. # 15. Frank Gore # 16. Marshawn Lynch tough call. Will you be able to use a decent RB for three weeks? His freshness at the end of the season should be valuable if you make the playoffs. # 17. Steven Jackson # 18. Ryan Grant # 19. Chris Johnson - I love this kid but I wonder how many carries are gonna be given to Lendale White. White seems to get a lot of the goal line rushes too. # 20. Jason Witten - With TO gone and Williams as their only good receiver Witten will put up a receivers numbers this year, JMO # 21. Greg Jennings # 22. Reggie Wayne # 23. Lee Evans # 24. Antonio Bryant # 25. Brandon Marshall # 26. Tony Gonzalez # 27. Brandon Jacobs # 28. Darren Sproles # 29. Eddie Royal # 30. Darren McFadden # 31. Jerious Norwood # 32. Calvin Johnson # 33. Kevin Smith # 34. Marion Barber # 35. Wes Welker # 36. Larry Johnson # 37. Drew Brees # 38. Philip Rivers # 39. Aaron Rodgers # 40. Jay Cutler # 41. Peyton Manning # 42. Donovan McNabb # 43. Trent Edwards # 44. Tony Romo # 45. Kurt Warner # 46. Matt Cassel # 47. Carson Palmer # 48. Tom Brady - very worried about him gun shy this year as well as durable. Since his last SB teams have seen the way to defeat him is to pressure him. He's too risky in my book this year. # 49. Eli Manning # 50. Jake Delhomme

Dante
Why do you think that? Nice list Steely. Thanks! Why is Brees so low? You would take say, a Greg Jennings ahead of him?
KD in CA
Do NOT buy into the DeAngelo Williams hype... I don't think hype is the right word, but I agree he may be overvalued in drafts given last year's outstanding performance. I thought he looked good in a RBBC approach his first two years and targeted him in the middle rounds last year and that obviously paid off big time. He's the real deal IMO -- just a matter of how many carries Stewart takes away from him.
angrygnome
PPR (Point-per-reception league) The Rb's that catch go first. I'm picking third. I think these two guys will be there. Who do i pick? Matt Forte -or- Maurice Jones-Drew
