BillsFanNC Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 My prediction: After this Sunday all talk of the 2004 Buffalo Bills in regard to the NFL playoffs ceases.
Realist Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 When E. James carved us up, it was in part because we game planned to stop Peyton Manning and not bite on his play action. Had we tried to solely stop James, he would have passed for 500+ yds. If we do that to McGahee, what will Drew do? 110987[/snapback] Pass for 200 yards, maybe?
KurtGodel77 Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 On offense, the Bills' line must take control. If they achieve that, they can pound the ball against the Pats' soft run defense, and Drew will have time to exploit the Pats' injuries at CB. I'd love to see some big plays by Lee Evans, like the ones Mushin Muhammed had against the Pats in the Super Bowl. The Patriots are more vulnerable on defense than offense. On offense, the Bills must put a stop to those 8 - 15 yard passes. The Patriots will carve you up with that stuff if you let them. The Patriots' pass attack scares me a lot more than Corey Dillon.
