jason268152 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Maybin is due to be one of the highest paid Bills. My question is when do we say " Well we can't use you this year anyway, so you can stay home as long as you want. Have fun Aaron, I hope it was worth it!". I would even consider letting hime re-enter the draft if that is what he wants. The Bills can use his contract money towards a free agent in 2010.
The Dean Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 The Bills ARE moving on. Did they cancel training camp, or something? Are they not going to play the HOF game on Sunday?

The Big Cat Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 OP, today is August 6, 39 days until the MNF opener. Shut up.
Fan in Chicago Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Well when do they realize its too late for him to contribute this year. Maybe after week 8 of the regular season.

A question to other posters: When do we realize that jason268152 will never be able to contribute anything of significance to this board?
jason268152 Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 OP, today is August 6, 39 days until the MNF opener. Shut up. There are questions about his ability? There were reports that he was horrible during OTA's. If he doesn't sign this week I say screw him. I don't understand how these rookies that haven't proved anything can act like he was MVP of the league last year.
Maddog69 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 A question to other posters: When do we realize that jason268152 will never be able to contribute anything of significance to this board? The second I read the original post.

I don't understand how these rookies that haven't proved anything can act like he was MVP of the league last year. It's not as if he's holding out for more money. The players around him haven't signed, so his agent and the Bills seem to be waiting for that to happen first so they can put an accurate contract figure in place. The way rookies are signed in the NFL is stupid, and one huge collective action problem--but that's the way it is.

When do you realize that with a name like "Captain Caveman" Lance Bass would call you a closet homosexual.
MiamiGeorge Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 this is the first time in years, that I really don't care much of our first round pick, and not even thinking about it that much. He doesn't impress me at all.

I'm not defending Maybin, but could you explain to me what he has done to act as though he was the MVP of the league last year?

Because the Bills will say "sit home and come to us when you're will to accept our offer, and if you want to roll the dice and miss out on this years salary and re-enter the draft go right ahead".
Captain Caveman Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 When do you realize that with a name like "Captain Caveman" Lance Bass would call you a closet homosexual. Dude, Captain Caveman rules. And who the is Lance Bass? And... it takes one to know one?
jason268152 Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 I'm not defending Maybin, but could you explain to me what he has done to act as though he was the MVP of the league last year? My statement was a little extreme, but he has been holding out for 2 weeks now. In my opinion that is a little conceded. I know everyone wants to lay it on the agent, but last time I checked his agent works for him.

Because the Bills will say "sit home and come to us when you're will to accept our offer, and if you want to roll the dice and miss out on this years salary and re-enter the draft go right ahead". do we even know if the Bills have an offer on the table?
jason268152 Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 Dude, Captain Caveman rules. And who the is Lance Bass? And... it takes one to know one? Captain Caveman? I bet they call you that at the Blue Oyster. You should just call yourself captian Fellatio!

Yeah, because rookies don't end up playing only 2-3 preseason games (or in some cases none) every f'n year. Not to mention that every single agent wants to wait for the players picked behind, and especially above him to sign before working out a deal. That's the way the system is set up. When are you going to realize that no one will care what you think, as long as you continue to pull this out of your ?
