Steely Dan Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Good point. Unlike most programs on broadcast networks, cable programs are usually sold based on their cumulative ratings (the number of different households/demographic they reach with all airings of the same episode combined). Brandy and Mr. Whiskers is listed at the 3:30 time slot. I'm assuming they are talking about the first run.
extrahammer Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Because more people are working at noon on Monday and more people can watch at 10pm Yeah, but why air it both times? I'm certain they're probably counting the 10pm Monday episodes, but that noon airing I bet cuts down the numbers.
The Dean Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Yeah, but why air it both times? I'm certain they're probably counting the 10pm Monday episodes, but that noon airing I bet cuts down the numbers. It can only add to it.
dollars 2 donuts Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 The one panelist (who says he's from Buffalo) claimed that if Owens acts up, we Buffalonians will be all over him, not because he's acting up or not performing, but because he's black. Rome and the other panelist both seemed to be rolling their eyes on that stupidity I happened to catch this last night, as well. Considering Vincent Smith (i believe that's who it was) is a Buffalo native, I am not going to jump all over him for his opinion of Buffalo or Buffalonians. BUT, it was a little insulting, not as much his comments directly about racial issues in this city, but how it is better in other cities, as he mentioned Atlanta...? (yes)...and from his comments you can assume he also includes TOs other cities: Dallas, San Fran, and Philly due to Smith's comments that the racial component would be WORSE in Buffalo than in TOs prior stops. Come on, Vincent. Come on.

ThereIsNoDog Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Don't know what the heck T.O.'s tweetin' about - he's already been on Rome's show.... I would assume TO meant "ever again."
