ThereIsNoDog Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Hopefully reports that Byrd is also close to returning are also true.
Matt in KC Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Steve's ribs likely are still quite sore. I think this is one of our first read outs on his heart. It's great to hear he's back!
In-A-Gadda-Levitre Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 so did Leodis Meanwhile, cornerback Leodis McKelvin returned to practice after taking a day off to rest a sore quadriceps.
Steely Dan Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Good news on Johnson!!! so did Leodis Great article on Langster!!
Bad Lieutenant Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Woo hoo ! I am pulling for him to have a very good year despite the presence of T.O., Evans and Reed. And "Superstar" Parrish.
sharper802 Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Thank God!! welcome back steve It is a sad day when as fans we are thanking God for a 7th round draft pick coming back to practice....
Ramius Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Good to see our 2010 #2 WR back in practice. Tack on our 2010 LT playing with the front liners (albeit as an RT), and whoever takes over for jauron in 2010 has the makings of something good.
MattM Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 It is a sad day when as fans we are thanking God for a 7th round draft pick coming back to practice.... Would you say that about Marques Colston of the Saints or maybe a slightly higher pick like Tom Brady of the Pats*? Once you're in the League and start performing (as Johnson looks like he has the potential to do, IMHO), it don't matter where you were drafted.....
In-A-Gadda-Levitre Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 It is a sad day when as fans we are thanking God for a 7th round draft pick coming back to practice.... an interesting quote from George Catavolos with respect to draft order... Catavolos said where Lankster ends up this year will be based on performance, not where he was drafted. “Our philosophy — and most philosophies of teams in the NFL — is that no matter where you get drafted you have a chance to come in and show your ability,” Catavolos said. “He’s impressed us being around the football, so we don’t even look at (his draft status). If he keeps competing and improving he has a chance to make this team.”

Flbillsfan#1 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 It is a sad day when as fans we are thanking God for a 7th round draft pick coming back to practice.... Pats* fans are thankful for a 6th round picks return.
Whites Bay Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Cool. Now let's get Maybin in here. I've been so focused on the O-line I'd actually forgotten about him.
