Just read that article elsewhere. I almost wiped out on a cart one time. Long down hill on a fairway, and I could feel the cart start to slide sideways halfway down the hill, due to the dew still on the grass. Kept one leg out the cart in case I had to jump clear before getting to the bottom.

Me too Jack--basically the same way----cart path was wet after rain. I made a pledge that day to walk.

 

It's pretty common but I thought the situation here was a little goofy.

Not uncommon people are seriously injured riding golf carts all the time.
