Co-starters? :flirt:

Meanwhile, Mularkey said that Ross Tucker, who replaced Lawrence Smith at left guard on the game's second series, could start other games the rest of the season depending on the opponent.

D&C

Although Lawrence Smith started at left guard, Ross Tucker took most of the snaps there Sunday. Mularkey said the change was made because the team felt Tucker was a better fit in the offensive scheme against the Jets.

Mularkey said Tucker played well, but stopped short of saying Tucker would replace Smith as the starter.

Sounds like a smokescreen. Tucker essentially replaces LS from now on I think

Or Tucker will be starting when the game plan is to run more because he's a better run blocker.... which is effectively saying the same thing.
