Ennjay
Whenever I want up-to-the-minute breaking news from people who don't know any more than I do I come straight to the Wall, so . . . ESPN (the other place I go to when I want breaking news from people who don't know anything) reports the First Round logjam is breaking (Cushing signed, the Giants' #1, a few others). Is anybody hearing anything about Maybin?
BeastMode54
Nothing new to report unfortunately. It looks as if we might have to wait for Crabtree to sign, or at least for Moreno to sign. Sucks. Maybin NEEDS to be in camp
Ned Flanders
Sucks. Maybin NEEDS to be in camp No crap-o-la...missing an entire week of your first training camp will come back to bite him. For what? An extra $50-100k? As so many have said, the next CBA REALLY needs to address rookie sloting salaries.

I hope Maybin understands the importance of the camp and gets in....He has alreaedy missed 10+ practices.....something that is very valuable for him. ThereIsNoDog
The Raiders gave 7th overall pick Darius Heyward Bey a 5-year $56M deal. Orakpo, taken 13th overall, signed a 5-year $20M deal. Crabtree, picked 10th overall, is looking for top-3 money. Expect Maybin to be out a LONG time.
DDD
His holdout is not a big deal IMO. Jauron and Fewell are both on record as saying he's going to be a situational pass rusher this year as they wait for him to fill out his lanky frame over the next couple of seasons. Basically he just has to pin his ears back and go after the QB on third downs. By the way, I didn't think a team that hasn't made the playoffs in nearly a decade had that luxury but what do I know. Wood and maybe Levitre will have a much bigger impact this year and they're in.
