A narrowed playbook may be called for until the offensive line matures. That would be advisable. Heck, the playbook couldn't get much narrower than it did during Kelly's heyday. There's a lot to be said for a limited playbook. But there's a helluva lot more to be said for superior personnel. GO BILLS!!!
BillsVet
I can't remember the last time a Bills team didn't play close to the vest type football. And it says a lot when a man (Schonert) who's been in the league for more than 20 years as a coach and player can't develop a counterpunch offensively. IMO, either Schonert is all bluster, or DJ's game-plan is overruling TS' offensive intent. Either way, the lack of trust in players, and the Bills have some on both sides at the skill positions, should not be as prevalent anymore. If only it could have been that way after that 5-1 start. A narrowed playbook may be called for until the offensive line matures. Hmmm, same post, I gotta be sure first. Edwards acknowledges now that defenses got a read on coordinator Turk Schonert's offense, and "we didn't have a counterpunch we should have." A narrowed playbook may be called for until the offensive line matures. Wow!!! Deerball actually made a sensible comment. I'm writing it on my calendar right now. I should probably take a screenshot because nobody will believe me without evidence.
