P.K. Sam gone

Saw this one coming from a ways off. Sam just wasn't cut out for the NFL. I wonder if Caldwell will be brought in or if they have their eyes on some other prospects. I'm going to do some digging and see who is still out there

Tab Perry

Bad luck for Perry - he looked to be a real decent wr, but it was something like the last game of the '07 season where he fielded a meaningless KO on the 5 or so for CIN and got his hip smashed. 2006 6th round pick - UCLA.

I didn't know he was still out there.

FWIW, I think CIN WR Antonio Chatman won't make the final cuts. He's been nicked up the past few seasons, but is a decent backup wr and a fair PR. Not that the CIN STs are anything but weak.

Anyway, BUF may want to give him a look if he gets the axe and they are in need. My guess is that he will make somebody's roster - he's a gamer with a good grasp of the game. His numbers:

BTW - CIN is crowded at LB. Keep an eye out for 2 names - Darryl Blackstock and Brandon Johnson.

I'd be happy to see Blackstock on the market. Always thought he was a solid LB coming out of UVA

Johnson, too. Both big linebackers that hit, that responded well to their coaching when they got in as injury replacements.

CINs DC Zimmer is a zone blitz fan. Maualuga falling into their lap in rnd 2 was his dream come true.

So CJ Hawthorne is chopped liver?

How many wideouts do we need?

Several teams are salivating like buzzards waiting for Roscoe to be cut and you're worried about PK Chang keeping a roster spot.

Sources for the salivating? I can't believe that there are that many.
