BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Meeting with the Patriots. FWIW
angrygnome Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Meeting with the Patriots. FWIW $20 says if he signs with the pats the "conditional reinstatement" (which could be anywhere from 0-6 games) will have him playing in the opener while Marshawn is out 2 games.
cmjoyce113 Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 I saw an article on PFT talking about this. I wonder if the radio station just blew it out of proportion or he is actually there. If he ends up a Patriot you cen bet even if he plays in 3 to 5 snaps a game Bellicheck will use him very well. It should be interesting.

We better hope Marshawns appeal gets it down to 2 games. I have a feeling he might be stuck at 3.
DwightSchrute Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Hmmm. I have to think he is just making his rounds. He was actually in Denver last night, but not sure if he was meeting with the Broncos but I imagine that was the case...
naj377 Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 not surprised if vick signs wtih the patriots, the pats are scum bags and will do anything and everything including taping other teams plays to win a superbowl so i guess good for them
BillsGuyInMalta Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 If he does sign with the Patriots, now their fans can ignore his past problems just like they ignore a majority of Patriots history before 2001. Grogan who?
JoeF Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Vick is in bankruptcy court today in Virginia..... http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/articl...hhHOwAD99PJ8VG1 Maybe someone was spotted kicking Sparky the mascot dog at the fire station near Pats HQ and an honest mistake was made.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Im pretty sure I heard Tom Brady kills dogs too.
HereComesTheReignAgain Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Im pretty sure I heard Tom Brady kills dogs too. Tom prefers to fight goats. Here he is just before he slams it to the ground for losing a fight. http://www.boston.com/lifestyle/fashion/st...08/recount.html
Rock'em Sock'em Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Vick is a nice player, but I'd rather face the Patriots with Vick taking 5 or 6 snaps, rather than Brady taking all of them.

WVUFootball29 Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Im pretty sure I heard Tom Brady kills dogs too. I thought he was involved in the CT finch fighting ring?

Their current situation leaves a lot to be desired if Brady's knee isn't fully repaired. He would, at the very least, add another dimension to their already potent offense and make them MUCH tougher to beat then O'Connell starting would.
WildBills Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 i went to boston on tuesday for a red sox game. those people there are some real tools. their accent makes me want to puke. the only good thing about boston is the sexy girls. although that dirty accent is a real turn off. i could see these a$$holes wanting to get vick. he would fit right in with the rest of the ma$$holes. you can tell they all think their shiit doesn't stink.

He was my sleeper QB pick in last year's draft. Big guy with good mobility and a laser rocket arm. Really could be another Cassell if given the opportunity. (Cue Billistic anytime now)

Vick was on his way out in the last season he played. He could never throw the ball very accurately and doesn't seem to see the field very well. I also don't think he was much of a leader or smart guy. I agree that he isn't going to start full time at QB - probably ever again.
Lori Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Report: Vick works out for Patriots But on the other hand ... @SI_PeterKingThis is what I'm hearing on Michael Vick: he wasn't in Foxborough this afternoon, at least not at Gillette Stadium... And now ... Vick did not work out for Patriots
