If anything, DE Derrick Burgess is most likely to get a one-way ticket out of Oakland. The Raiders attempted to trade Burgess during the offseason and added two defensive ends capable of taking his place. "He is not here by his choice," coach Tom Cable said of Burgess' failure to report before the mandatory time Wednesday. Cable declined to elaborate. In the interim, the Raiders are going with veteran Greg Ellis at Burgess' left end spot. Ellis was signed earlier, fresh from a season in which he recorded eight sacks for the Dallas Cowboys. -- Oakland Tribune

I'd imagine the Patriots would be interested, since they were close on a deal to acquire him back during the draft, and now they could have him without giving up anything. Even if we are interested, I'm going to assume he'd chose them over us.

The thread officially ends due to Bills fan logic being spot on.

Yeah, it would be nice, but it is just not going to happen.

He only played 10 games last year and amassed 24 tackles 3.5 sacks and one FF. How severe was his injury? I don't see him being much better than any of the rotational guys the Bills have now. JMO
