Buftex Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Why did we not acquire him, instead of Fitz? I am not sure where Thigpen went to school, but the Bills seem sort of pre-occupied by Ivy Leauge players, and coaches...besides, is anyone that convinced that Thigpen is than much better than Fitzpatrick? It is still pretty early in camp to be making judgements about a new QB. Fitz didn't have quite the numbers that Thigpen had last season, but, his performance did improve as the season went on...
mjohns85 Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Why did we not acquire him, instead of Fitz? i wonder the same thing. thigpen did show flashes last year. he put up some pretty respectable numbers toward the end of the season. i believe it was tony g that said thigpen deserved to be the starter for kc in 2009
BuffaloBlood Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Because he wasn't a free agent? Yea Thigpen was never available. His agent said something about him not being thrilled wiht the fact they brought in Cassell but he came out and said he would not request a trade. Plus even if he did dont you think he would want to go to a place he could battle for playing time. Regardless of what you think of Edwards thats not here.
Magox Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Why did we not acquire him, instead of Fitz? Because we couldn't, ya big dummmy
