Steely Dan Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Link I guess this says one of three things. 1. Johnson's injury could be worse than we're being told. 2. The team is entertaining the notion of trading Reed or Parrish. 3. Absolutely nothing. This is an extremely odd move. Even stranger than a woman agreeing to marry you. They are already in a position to cut one receiver that should have, at least, some trade value. Even if they were to trade Reed or Parrish that just leaves them with the exact number of guys they will keep at the end of the year. They wouldn't pay him to come in unless they were serious about possibly signing him. IMO. So he's camp fodder? Wouldn't a cheaper alternative be to bring in UFAs? Why a 30 year old with league experience? Anse may be right about them wanting experience. If he looks good enough to take the final WR spot then maybe they can trade two players? I don't know. But there is an archaic, sneering, comment..."four legs under". The meaning was "there's more to marriage than just 4 legs writhing under the covers." Perhaps it should be resurrected...it would seem to be applicable these days. I would add an appropriate smiley, but something happened to the TBD s/w or to my own PC that no longer gives me that ability. :-{{{. Are you sure you have emoticons enabled for the posts?

Pitta Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 The sole reason the Patriots did not win the superbowl in 2006. Guy is garbage, and the only time he was ever productive in the NFL was when he had Brady.
