Ramius Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Thanks dumbass. It's gonna be 90 degrees at 4pm and it rained a little earlier so it's humid as HELL!! Jackass! Then pack an extra pair of panties in case the moisture causes chafing. And, 84 < 90.
Fan in Chicago Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 This has all the makings of an ieatcrayonz thread
Steely Dan Posted July 29, 2009 Author Posted July 29, 2009 This began with Laidlaw(now First Student) suing RTS for the right to transport city kids to school. So now thanks to the govt's infinate wisdom the taxpayers are required to cover the cost of bussing school kids over routes that RTS is already running. And this also includes sporting events. I could deal with the 7-10 minutes to camp, but RTS was also required to end its round trip runs to the Ralph. I travel to the games by my self and it was a nice option to take the RTS for $15.00, but there is no way I'm riding a school bus 4 hours round trip. I tried to find an alternate plan but you have to charter an entire bus which means finding people to fill it. I've bit the bullet and gone back to driving myself. I do miss the commaraderie on the bus. I don't think this ruling is state wide though as NFT in Erie county still run buses to and from the game. I may look to pick one up in Clarence this year and cut my drive time down a little. That's a big part of it too! Wow, so many replies and yet no one has mentioned the appropriateness of Steely riding the short bus. Did you get the seat right behind the driver? I know that's your favorite, the other kids can't pick on you when you sit by the driver. How do you know so much about short buses? Here: http://www.printglobe.com/Products/Promo.a...CFQoKswodVHSBdA Now be quiet. Bite me! Then pack an extra pair of panties in case the moisture causes chafing. And, 84 < 90. If you pay attention to the post I'm not the only person bitching about it. Jackass!!
Just Jack Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Jets camp in Cortland will let you park on campus, for only $5/car. I think I'll stick with paying a dollar and taking a school bus over. http://www.jetsinsider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=196062

Steely Dan Posted July 30, 2009 Author Posted July 30, 2009 Difference is you are a man's man as opposed to SD who is...well...who is SD. I have to take into account that that's coming from a poosy's poosy.

VJ91 Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Why has this changed! It's so aggravating being taken to a training camp in an unairconditioned bus!! Here's an idea for you. Why not have a friend or relative drop you off in their air conditioned car and pick you up after practice? Or, you can rent a nicely air conditioned limo to drive you up to the gate at St. John Fisher. Hey forget the limo, I'm sure most cabs have air conditioning too! Or, you can keep yourself naturally air conditioned by riding your bike to the practices.
Just Jack Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Hey Steely, tonight at practice you could park across the street from Fisher on someones front lawn for just $15.
Steely Dan Posted July 31, 2009 Author Posted July 31, 2009 Hey Steely, tonight at practice you could park across the street from Fisher on someones front lawn for just $15. Parking on lawns is illegal in that area. If not I might consider it at between 5 and 10. Harleys
