finknottle Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 While I don't have the facts, I'm glad it's failing. The backdrop sounds like one big taxpayer-supported giveaway, with everybody and their brother shoving money at the project. All the subsidies and grants in the world won't turnaround a dying region with an inherently unfriendly business environment.

KD in CA Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Sounds like Buffalo needs a "stimulus package". Better raise taxes to fund of new layer of government bureaucrats.

KD in CA Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 I wonder what fraction of the Buffalo population pays income tax? Apparently less than 50% since the same crooked bunch gets elected every time no matter how far down the sh--er the city goes.
