Very good, honest predictions IMO. Many people get carried away with how high the stats will be. I think yours are very practical.

Only one thing I'd disagree with. I don't think Marshawn will get to 1,000 yards this season. He'll miss the 3 games for the suspension, and also, he usually gets banged up for at least 1 or 2 more games a year. Also, it looks like we'll be running less and passing more, and more carries spread between Lynch, Jackson and Rhodes. JMO.

ML's suspension will likely be reduced to one game, or none. Remember - he already said he's really sorry, and promised not to do it again.

I'm predicting over 2000 all-purpose yards for Marshawn Lynch, and over 1800 of those will be rushing yards.

Dick Jauron named Coach Most Beloved By Players On a Team With a Losing Record.

i have very mixed feeleings about this year. I really want the bills to win 10 or more games... even though that means more DJ

If they can't win 10 games or more, I am hoping for a dismal season so we can show the Jauronic inferno the door.

Praying we are not the same mediocre 6-8 win team, which would ensure DJs return and another go at mediocrity.

Not bad predictions although I think you are expecting a little too much from Edwards, not sure he can improve that much with one of the worst O-Lines in the NFL.

56 tackles for Kawika Mitchell is a little to low IMO, I think he will be around 90-95 tackles. And as bad as Ellison is, If he does remain the starter all year long than he will probably be around 75-80 tackles. I really think that Poz will have a huge year so anything in the range of 120-130 tackles with 2 INT's and 2 sacks is very reasonable IMO. Other than that good predictions Drizz!

I just want 16 starts out of Edwards. I can't really begin to predict much else. Just start and finish every game this year. I mean, if JP can do it, Trent should be able to, too. Say what you want about JPs decision making, accuracy, timing, pass-rush sense, comments with the media, taking care of the football, et cetera, he was a tough dude that took A LOT of hits in 2006 and kept getting back up. That is all.

I was just looking at interception stats the other day for stud corners (i.e., Nate Clements, A. Winfield, etc.). Guys like that average 2-3 picks per year (i.e., if you average out their careers). A lot lower than I would have guessed. So, while it's not out of the realm of possibilities that our Irish corners will have 4 or 5 picks, it would be an unbelievably great year if it happened.

Very good first post quite realistic. Here is my take on things.

Edwards- 3400 21 TD's 9 Ints (He misses 2 games).

Fitz in 2 games 2 TD's 2 Ints 320 yards

Owens 70 Receptions 1050 yards 8TD grabs

Evans 68 Receptions 980 yards 8TD grabs

Reed- 48 Receptions 520 yards 4TD grabs

S. Jhonson- 26 Receptions 290 yards 1 TD grab

R. Parrish - 25 Receptions 310 yards 1 TD grab

Tight End

D. Fine 22 Receptions 200 yards no TD's

S. Nelson 7 Receptions 80 yards no TD's

Running backs

M. Lynch 1020 yards in 14 games 7 rush TD's

F. Jackson 580 yards 5 rush TD's

D. Rhodes 280 yards 1 rush TD

Passing production out of the Running back position 300 Receiving yards 1 TD and 30 Receptions

I have over inflated passing numbers because in the first half of the year we are going to be passing a lot. During the latter half of the year our rushing numbers will pick up due to weather and an improving offensive line. To me Edwards will miss 2 games and Fitz will play passable while Lynch will get his suspension reduced to 2 games.

As for defensive stats.

Poz- break out year 110 tackles 3 sacks. Gets better in pass coverage and gets 1 int.

Mitchell- 85 tackles 2 sacks. Solid year but nothing spectacular

Ellison- 64 tackles no sacks. Typical Ellison year.

Schobel- 7.5 sacks I will go out and say he has a rebound year.

Maybin- 4 sacks has a solid rookie outing

Stroud- 3.5 sacks has a typical Stroud year

Kelsay- 3 sacks has a typical Kelsay year

K. Williams- 2.5 sacks- typical Kyle Williams year

J. McCargo- 1.5 sacks- Has a bounce back year while he isn't a dominant guy he does play acceptable.

C.Ellis- 1 sack- Plays decent for the role he is asked.

McGee- 3 ints plays fairly well

McKelvin- 4 ints gets thrown at a lot but rounds into form as the year goes on.

D.Whitner- 1 int 1 sack plays solid but nothing special will still have his haters

Byrd/Grant Wilson at FS they play decent.

The defense stays about the same maybe gets a little better thanks to more sacks thanks to Schobels return and Maybin. Poz improves the production out of the line backing core while McKelivin's struggles early hurt the secondary production.
