Delete This Account Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Folks: Unable to provide details, but look for a Levitre story to move (be filed, posted) on The Associated Press wire shortly. jw EDITS: UPDATES with AP reporting Levitre had signed, citing agent.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I was feeling pretty stiff this morning, thanks! Oh...wait... (PS: Great news, thanks for all of your work John!)
Delete This Account Posted July 26, 2009 Author Posted July 26, 2009 story has moved on wire, can't find link yet, but it'll quote the agent, saying the two sides are close to a deal and Levitre could report to camp as early as today. that's why i put "very encouraging" and not "good" news. jw
Billistic Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I wonder what it's going to say?! His arms are too short to play in the NFL, so he's getting arm extension surgery.
scoring is not hardy Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 we all knew that we would have to bring in levitre before we got wood.

zazie Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Lori maybe we can we have a "ask John Wawrow" thread in addition to the Tim Graham thread? He seems to be just as or more in the know...

He seems to be just as or more in the know... zazie: i've discussed with Lori already, and because of the nature of my business when it comes to providing "opinion," and also because i'm sometimes stretched all over the place (covering hockey, hoops and whatever else might come up), i'd prefer not to have a dedicated thread. it's not that i don't like answering questions, i just feel that i might not be able to keep up with it, and that would be unfair to those seeking answers. hope that's ok. jw

Don't even know how the AP can make money with all the rags going out of business or not having money anymore (and the stories being available for free immediately on the web) so I appreciate the work.
