SKOOBY Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 I read something about a 2nd surgery he was going to have and not be able to play this season but found no concrete evidence as to that, yet.

The Dean Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 technically and also professionally, it would be wrong for me to break news anywhere but the company that employs me, so ... but i thought i might give you heads up. jw I understand, I was just bustin' your chops. Too bad about John. It's a big loss to be sure. It isn't devastating from a football perspective, though.
Delete This Account Posted July 25, 2009 Author Posted July 25, 2009 move what, his bowels? where do people get this stuff? for those not familiar with the business, a story "moves" on the wire. jw and Dean, no offense taken. it's a tough loss, because i really came to like John. a good, blue-collar kid, and a nice guy.
Beerball Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 digiorgio's out for the season. jw Thanks for the heads up. Any comment on the surgery taking place in Colorado? Microfracture?

Absolutely. I'm guessing he is well liked among teammates and coaches, too.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 My best guess is that Pat Thomas is going to be our backup ILB this season, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them go and grab another veteran. Matt Wilhelm, Nate Webster and Napoleon Harris are available.
silvermike Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 Ahh, nerts. That's a real blow to our depth - who's the backup ILB now?
Beerball Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 LB John DiGiorgio has been Waived/Failed Physical. Where were you able to find that info?
