Jauron : "it gives us a chance"

Recommended Posts

Jauron-speak would be a lot more tolerable if it weren't for the gameday failures. While I give him credit for protecting players and coaches alike, he must realize the rhetoric is getting old. It's also not going to pass muster in 2009.

I've repeatedly heard DJ's preparation from Monday through Saturday is good. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for making poor decisions on game days. As has been mentioned numerous times on TSW, his ability to quickly diagnose and make decisions is hampering this team. He's a bright man, though ultimately incapable of adjusting to changing scenarios, and thus he takes extra time. It's not surprising TO's are used in situations where the game clock winds down, or in situations like being near the goal line at home versus the Jets in 2007.

Coaching is a force-multiplier in a league with general parity. When the coaching staff is indecisive and tentative, it tends to be a millstone around the team collectively.

No, that shows his terrible gameday management skills, and his inability to think fast and effectively under pressure, IMO.

the Bills may not be "perfectly" prepared every week. I'm guessing no team is. But DJ does a reasonably good job Mon-Sat, IMO. It's the Sunday decisions that have doomed him.

preparing the team for bad weather by practicing outdoors is one of Docks' strong points :wallbash:

Dick and his boys were also dominant in getting Trent prepared to shred all of those 3-4 defenses last year. :wallbash:

i CAN NOT stand dick Jauron always mummbling about the bills having " a chance" . "They’re a bright group, football smarts, they think the game and talk the game a lot. That gives us a CHANCE, but it won’t be easy,” says Jauron. This is the same idiot who has numberous unmemorable quotes. saying things like: "He had a high completion percentage and did a really nice job. So he needs to move forward from there and if he does that we’ll have a real CHANCE. I have a lot of faith in him and I believe rightly so because he’s performed.” Jauron is acting like to win a football game, you have a CHANCE. just like if you buy a powerball lottery ticket, you have a CHANCE. is winning an NFL game equaly difficult as winning the lottery for that man? doesn't he realise he has some say in the outcome of the *&^%ing game?!?!?!?!?

Dont worry he will coach them to just have a chance!!! IF theyre lucky...I so look forward to another season of stupid gameday decisions by this moron!!!!!
