R. Rich Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 He played too long ago. Therefore, he is not worthy. Bigger...stronger...faster and all that. Plus, they're not as well known. Victims of the "I've heard of 'em" syndrome.
KRC Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Plus, they're not as well known. Victims of the "I've heard of 'em" syndrome. Good point. Combine that with the fantasy football mentality of stats telling you the whole story, these people don't even belong in the conversation.
billsfreak Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 We really need the 2009 season to start with posts like this. If we start putting all of the backups on the Wall of Fame too, we are going to need a lot bigger stadium. Who is next Billy Joe Hobert? He started almost as many games for the Bills as Lamonica did. Lamonica was a very good QB with the Raiders, with whom he earned the nickname "The Mad Bomber", but with the Bills he was the Reliever out of the Bullpen.
