Flbillsfan#1 Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 He was a hell of a QB for the Bills and one of the best when he played!!
San Jose Bills Fan Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 He was with the Bills for four years, as a backup. He started a total of four games for the Bills.
Flbillsfan#1 Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 When is JD Hill going on the wall? Doesn't this deserve it's own thread?
Flbillsfan#1 Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 He was with the Bills for four years, as a backup. He started a total of four games for the Bills. The Bills would not have won their two AFL Championships without Lamonica. He also won an AFL Championship with Oakland & took Oakland to Super Bowl II. IMO he deserves more consideration for the Wall of Fame than Joe Cribbs.
Whites Bay Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Please stop this! When does camp start???? Oh, I hear you. Please, please, please, Jesus, get us to Saturday. Bring us the next level of inanity, but please deliver us from this one.

JP Losman is more deserving than Lamonica.
Corp000085 Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 When is JD Hill going on the wall? It better not be before Greg Bell.
shoretalk Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Ok ... I have kept my mouth shut since I was criticized for a satirical comment by "experienced" wall writers but this posting is another example of how desperate many of the posters to the wall are for a life. Let training camp begin and the calls to bring Marangi in at quarterback! Wait a second ... why isn't he on the Wall?
thewildrabbit Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 He was a hell of a QB for the Bills and one of the best when he played!! Al Davis is thinking of putting him up on his wall
R. Rich Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Please stop this! When does camp start???? Yeah, like that'll take care of this. These kind of posts will just be replaced w/ the up to the minute reports on what the players have for breakfast.
nucci Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Yeah, like that'll take care of this. These kind of posts will just be replaced w/ the up to the minute reports on what the players have for breakfast. Just frustrated when I posted. I know nothing will stop it.
KRC Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 He was a hell of a QB for the Bills and one of the best when he played!! He played too long ago. Therefore, he is not worthy. Bigger...stronger...faster and all that.
Golden Wheels Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Why isn't Butch Byrd on the Wall of Fame? Unlike Lamonica he was a STARTER. Byrd holds the Bills' career records for interceptions (40), interception return yards (666) and interceptions returned for touchdowns (5). He was a five-time AFL All-Star. Byrd's most memorable play was a punt return in the 1965 AFL Championship game against the San Diego Chargers. Byrd is one of the best defensive backs in Bills history.

Because nobody either remembers him or they don't look up Bills records.
Nanker Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 He'll go up following Joe Montana's induction in Kansas City's Wall of Arrows.
