The data say that if you have a top 10 D, you are likely to go to the playoffs. What percentage of teams with top 10 offenses made the playoffs the past few years? Back to school for you, Skooby. No. You asserted the Bills MUST have a top 10 D, even if they have a top 5 offense. You have only shown that a good D helps you make the playoffs. Duh. That doesn't address your point, that a team CAN'T succeed with a top 5 offense, but a defense that isn't in the top 10. You may want to go over the stats from 20+ to 30+ seasons, then calculate your percentages. Simpleton translation: Skooby, you have size issues. Sample size, that is.
