Couldn't you have waited until I buried that Weenie-Whami at the grave of Wellington BEFORE putting the hex on Lindell? Until the Curse of Gogolak is removed there can be no more tempting the Gods, ok? If Lindell misses the game-winning extra point against the Pats we will know why. Perhaps a Weenie-Whami by itself won't suffice now. Any ideas what else I should bury at Mara's tombstone so that the football Gods are sufficiently appeased?

GO BILLS!!!

I thought they were called Whammy Weenies? I'm not sure I remember their exact name but I do remember when they came out and parents got all embarrassed because of their "phallicness" so they were recalled due to a supposed lead paint finish.

Yeah, you're right. It was Whammy Weenie. One of the most embarrassing marketing moments in Bills history. Regardless, it's got to be buried at the grave of Mara to remove the Curse of Gogolak.

Well yes - this is a given, and it must be done - but those Whammy Weenies seem like they'd make a helluva racket if used appropriately and carefully orchestrated - a big fan of using noisemakers to distract the opposition is none other than...

BTW, the above linked site, Forgotten Buffalo is a very cool site which all Buffalonians, particularly expatriot Buffalonians should bookmark.

That's a great site, SJBF - and Marty Biniasz & Eddie Dobosiewicz run some great tours of some of those forgotten treasures, if you ever have the chance to take one.

Notice how that's the usual response. 'Just sign someone else.'

I want a name.

And the problem with signing inexperienced kickers is that you don't know what you're going to get. If you make a move based on one preseason, be ready for it to backfire once the big boys play full-time and the pressure cooker increases.

I don't have a name.

I'm not a pro scout. I don't disagree with a lot of what you are saying including if he's good enough for Bobby April he's OK with me. I also don't know that they aren't looking around. At least last year, Lindell was OK. I just want better than OK FG wise.

The original question was "Does he have your confidence or not?". As for me, right here, right now, he does not. But I have an open mind. That could change.
