Wilson from Gamehendge Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Notre Dame is trying to schedule a home game for each of the next few years, at the new Yankee Stadium. this year...2011, 2012 and 2013. opponents would be Army this year...and possibly Syracuse and Rutgers for 2 of the future games. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4336932 I would definitly try to go down in a year or two to see 'Cuse play the Irish in Yankee Stadium. The tickets for these games will probably be OUTRAGEOUS though.
Marv's Neighbor Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 I'm curious to see how they would configure the Football field. Baseball Stadiums don't normally make a good transition to other sports. You end up with a lot of seats at odd angles and bad/odd views of the field. You're probably right about the ticket prices!

The ND-Army games were played at the old Yankee Stadium during most of the 30ies and 40ies they talk about this for a few months. link to my blog : http://elitefoot.blogspot.com/2009/05/notr...ee-stadium.html
