Thailog80 Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Per ESPN Monday Morning QB. Why can't Eric Allen say Pittsburgh? Every time he calls them Picksburgh........nice EA are you six?
Kelly the Dog Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Good. Not wishing an injury on someone but it serves him right for not sliding when he had a chance and trying to get an extra yard against the Bills and Fletcher nailed him with a good solid legal hit.
Thailog80 Posted November 8, 2004 Author Posted November 8, 2004 ESPN is now saying he may be out 2 to 6 weeks. WOW!!! Cute pup also Kelly
Realist Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Good. Not wishing an injury on someone but it serves him right for not sliding when he had a chance and trying to get an extra yard against the Bills and Fletcher nailed him with a good solid legal hit. 108043 I don't think you'll be saying that when JP runs and doesn't slide.
Kelly the Dog Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 I don't think you'll be saying that when JP runs and doesn't slide. 108047 Not sliding is the reason JP may not be playing right now. He better slide. Pennington had already gotten the first down and was in the middle of the field.
Paco Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 This is really too bad. My understanding from the Jets nation is that this is the one injury they feared the most. But hey...Quincy Carter can throw 50-yard touchdowns, so maybe all won't be lost.
Buckeye Eric Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 But hey...Quincy Carter can throw 50-yard touchdowns, so maybe all won't be lost. 108057 .....assuming that DBs league-wide begin falling down....
duey Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 .....assuming that DBs league-wide begin falling down.... 108059 Bingo. Jets fans are getting ready to mail in the season. What a difference a week makes.
duey Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 OMG...some jackass on NY's WFAN just suggested that Quincy Carter is an upgrade over Pennington, due to his scrambling ability. What a bunch of idiots I'm forced to live with down here.

stuckincincy Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Per ESPN Monday Morning QB. Why can't Eric Allen say Pittsburgh? Every time he calls them Picksburgh........nice EA are you six? 108023 Having previously lived in the PiCKsburg area for 11 years, that usage is quite common. We also said "Yuns need to red up ur houz if compny is coming over." Naturally, when I return to WNY, I like it if a restaurant gives me a nice glass of iced warrrr, fur my thirst.
Guest Guest_Coach_Tuesday Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Rotator cuff? I hardly know 'er!
DPR4444 Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 But hey...Quincy Carter can throw 50-yard touchdowns, so maybe all won't be lost. >>>> he's got that crazy coke-strength in his arm!

What a bunch of idiots I'm forced to live with down here. 108077 And this suprises you?? Jets fans are SO OBSESSED with Paul Hackett's play calling being too "conservative" its laughable...maybe its because your QB's arm sucks, ever think of that?!!??!! Figures callers in the NYC area wouldnt like anything "conservative"

I went to college with PICKSburghians. Guy asked me for a gum band. He was trying to red up his room. You know, arning his shirts, throwing the Arn City kegs out on the berm of the road, etc.
eball Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 ESPN saying he's out 2-4 weeks. this can not be underestimated. quincy carter is not good. the wild card race just tightened up as i see the jets coming back to the pack, losing their next 2 (baltimore, @ cleveland).

What a bunch of idiots I'm forced to live with down here. 108077 Yup, they'll really be impressed by that lifetime 70.7 QB rating. More INTs than TDs. 68 sacks in 31 starts. Whatever.....

You need a translator for Dundalk.
Simon Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 WTF?! Nice win fellas but did you really need to bust up my fantasy QB? You did? Oh, well OK then!
