The Dean Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Or one loaded with buns. Kinda like the old drive-in previews where the hot dog and bun would dance around and the hot dog would "jump" into the bun. Wiener jumping in a bun? Are you sure you weren't at a gay drive-in?
ExiledInIllinois Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Wiener jumping in a bun? Are you sure you weren't at a gay drive-in? I think that is why they 86'd it.

ExiledInIllinois Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Hey looky here... You made Dean's "gay" response look dumb! I think this is the one I was thinking of (doesn't exactly jump into the bun in this clip, others had similar): Promos 2:49-2:57 Who says times were any different?... Still peddling concessions.

That hot dog just does a teasing dance for the bun. He doesn't jump in. Mine's better. Yours sucks!! I guess it wouldn't fit in the backdoor.

Steely Dan Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Hey something can be said for softcore porn! Linky Drivers of the Wienermobiles are known as Hotdoggers and often hand out toy whistles shaped as replicas of the Wienermobile, known as Wienerwhistles. Well the kids have gotta learn sometime.

Kinda like the old drive-in previews where the hot dog and bun would dance around and the hot dog would "jump" into the bun. They still run that promo at intermission at the Autorama Drive In in North Ridgeville, Ohio. I know, because the last time I was there (last summer) they ran it. They've been running it as long as I've been going there, since about 2000. My wife and I have had a running joke for years about the wiener, bun, and what it represents.

Just Jack Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Drive in? They actually still exist? Autorama? Is the lot filled with Ford V-8's? We've got two within an easy drive from Syracuse ( http://www.midwaydrivein.com/ , http://www.westromedrivein.com/) and two to the north near Watertown ( http://www.blackriverdrivein.com/ , http://www.baydrivein.com/). United Drive In Theater Owners Association. Looks like NY, Ohio, and PA have the most Drive-ins in the US.
