Chad Ocho Cinco Plans To Twitter During Games

You know, I may interested to hear what certain players would say during the game; but what the hell would be so important for him to say that couldn't wait till after the game?

"Coles just spilled my Gatorade."

We're entering a new realm of sports where players would rather take their attention off the games to post updates on sites like Facebook and Twitter. I really don't care either way as long as they aren't doing it while being coached. If they are literally just sitting there waiting to go out on the field... maybe. I'm not sure I like the idea and completely understand the NFL's position on the subject wanting players to FOCUS on the game.

BTW, I don't get the big deal about Twitter. I have Myspace and Facebook, and aren't the updates you post on those the same damn thing?

The verb is to "tweet." And yeah, I don't get it either. It's just like sending out a text message on your phone to everybody in your contacts, I guess. Except you can have thousands of contacts. I assume he'll just give his Twitter password to one of his buddies, who will post for him during games. He won't get in trouble because he'll never be caught in the act.

Forget about what the NFL wants - I can't believe the Bengals coaching staff is going to allow it.

Seriously, I used to think Chad 85 was humorous but he is a complete joke. He is so desperate for attention, it is beyond pathetic. Say what you want to about TO, but gameday, he is just focused on playing football. The Bengals should move him if he has anyway left. He is like a washed up porn star. not pretty.

Really? You can't believe it? I can. Lewis should have lost his job years ago. That entire organization is pathetically run and it starts right at the top. Ask Stuckincincy.

I think Lewis is a pretty good coach. He totally transformed that defense into a pretty good unit. But as you said, it starts from the top and the Bengals are one of the worst run teams in all of sports.

I don't think they've ever been a pretty good unit.

I'm not sure there is anything I could care less about in the sports world. No one should pay attention to that jackass.

If I was his boss and he was doing that during the game I'd fire his ass. What a bunch of idiots.

I agree 100% They are one team I look to as a Bills fan as worse run then us. You know they never would release him. It's pretty much common knowledge that he's a jackass/cancer but they wouldn't even trade him when they were offered multiple draft picks. (Including 2 #1's from thre 'skins I believe)

Then again at least they have been to the playoffs in the past ten years.

They were 19th in points and 12th in yards this season.

That is not a pretty good defense, IMO. Marvin Lewis was brought in as a defensive coach in order to turn that defense around for a team who's offense already had the players in place to be successful. He's been coaching that team since 2003. Six years later, the best you can do, is 19th in points allowed and 12th in yardage? Meanwhile teams behind you in those rankings are making the playoffs? Not to mention that your team acts like a bunch of juvenile jackasses and your franchise is the laughing stock of the league. That's a fail, IMO.

Suspend him. That way he doesn't get paid AND he doesn't get his wish to play for another team.

I would rather Marvin Lewis show some balls and pull something like
during the game if he starts to Twitter.

That would be great. I wonder who is sitting there filming that though.

That's what I thought at first. But if I was the professor and the student was filming my lecture because their note taking sucks I wouldn't have a problem with that. Your phone rings in our management meetings that cost you $50.
