Haven't seen it, at least not that I know of. And isn't it nice that they didn't bother to, you know, put the friggin' NAME OF THE BOOK in the copy? (I'm assuming the cover ran as art next to the story.)

BTW, if you're interested in Apollo 11, check out this waycool Web site: http://www.wechoosethemoon.com

Looking into comments about the article - sounds like the book's title is Moon Landing: Apollo 11 40th Anniversary Pop-Up. Authors are Richard Platt, David Hawcock.

I wonder how much time the media will spend on the 40th anniversary of this amazing event compared to the death of some pop rock?

1968 and 1969 were two amazing years.

First thing I noticed. Spectacular fail.

A picture of the book has now been added to that Web page. But it's just like a gamer -- I don't care if the score is in a cutline, it still needs to be somewhere in the freakin' story.

If anyone is interested in the entire Apollo series, check out "A Man on the Moon" by Andrew Chaikin. I've read it and can give a full overview to anyone interested.

The book is a comprehensive overview of the entire Apollo program that not only discusses the missions, but the astronauts and their lives in and around the missions. You get fully enveloped into their stories and what goes on at the Johnson space center, and you really get to know who the astronauts were. To me, Apollo 11, while landmark, was also rather boring when compared to Apollo 12-17. It was on the subsequent missions where the real fun took place.
