Twice so far in my building we've had to go stand in the stairwells for about 20 minutes until a warning is lifted. One touched down just north of Atlanta in Adairsville, GA and did a bunch of damage. A big section of I75 is shut down with many cars overturned. Anchorage is soooooo much nicer than Fairbanks. Funny, when I got a job offer in Fairbanks I also got a job offer in Anchorage City Schools. I chose Fairbanks because the salary was 7-8K more and they offered 5K in relocation reimbursement. Almost wish I made a different decision.
