/dev/null
http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachus...s_campaign=8315 Has government bureaucracy really sunk this low? On Friday zoo officials released a statement saying the funding reduction might require them to shutter both zoos. Then on Saturday, they issued a statement that said state bureaucrats - and not animal-care professionals - would be responsible for deciding whether some animals would have to be killed if the zoos closed. finknottle
Has government bureaucracy really sunk this low? Far be it from me to defend government bureaucracy, but the Zoo's are not state entities. Their pedigree is worse: they belong to that special cauldron of self-entitlement known as the state-supported non-profit.

It is by no means fun but maybe this is the start of something that will end well. We have discussed mammal farts as contibuting to global warming. Although I love animals, I have long held the position that we must kill all mammals so that humans may live. It is really one of the most practical ways of stoppping global warming.
