"I'm passing the ball so the team can win." It sounds like she's making a preemptive move in anticipation of something bad coming out about her. Not going away but doing more than ever. So you won't believe her anyway if you don't like her. She makes Bush sound eloquent in comparison.

I'll speculate: she's a !@#$ing looney-bird. Really, it's like someone told her "Just do what Obama did: write your memoirs, then quit your elected position to run for a higher elected position." And she took the advice to heart...and completely and totally !@#$ed it up.
