ganesh Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 It would be one of the greatest days in recent Bills history for sure. Harris and Stroud would be NASTY up front. God, please smile down on the Bills Championship teams are built from inside to outside in the trenches...Casey Hampton, Vince Wilfork are Super bowl DTs that come to mind. Get Er done Russ.
todzilla Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 To be honest, I doubt Denver will do better than a 2nd for Marshall. The guy is talented soon, but he is injury prone and 1 more arrest (could be any day) away from missing multiple games. The guy could be out of the league within a few years if he isn't careful. Plus he wants a new deal, thats a pretty risky player to give up too much for.
Lurker Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Frankly, I'd put more stock in Soprano than this guy....
Lurker Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Already being discussed. Yeah, but who reads his threads....
rpcolosi Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 http://bleacherreport.com/articles/205724-...ay-trade-coming We get Tommie Harris in the deal and give up a second and Josh Reed. if we could unload Roscoe it be better. Reed is our best blocking WR, and I don't see them wanting to part with him especially because of how effective he is in the slot. Roscoe in his walk year and a 2nd rounder for Tommie harris? I'd like it....
Tcali Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 http://bleacherreport.com/articles/205724-...ay-trade-coming We get Tommie Harris in the deal and give up a second and Josh Reed. well---lets assume its not total BS....WOULD LOVE IT. That would make us 1 yr away from serious contention instead of 2. All we would need to do then is get rid of Jauron ,get one more real DE, and one LB.....and this team would be a SB contender.

Major Mud Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 http://bleacherreport.com/articles/205724-...ay-trade-coming We get Tommie Harris in the deal and give up a second and Josh Reed. As bad as Denvers defense was last year wouldnt they jump at getting a player like Tommie Harris? And would Chicago really give up a great young DT for a loud mouthed, trouble making WR?, they are all over the NFL. Seems like unfounded internet message board fodder to me.
BuffaloBill Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 intriguing, but that article seems like the writer is just making it up Correct it is entirely speculative and hypothetical.
shrader Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 When was the last 3-way trade in the NFL, Dickerson?
The Dean Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Lol that is the most bull sh-- trade I've ever heard, the bills get Tommie Harris, the Bears get Brendan Marshall, and the Broncos get Josh Reed? so they're trading a top 5 WR straight up for a mediocre slot man? This guy needs to lay off the PCP, I love his excuse "the broncos are in a rebuilding year" so what that means they can afford to throw away their best player? While I agree it is likely a bulls#it rumor, you conveniently left out at least a 2nd round draft pick. That ain't chump-change.
toddgurley Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 http://bleacherreport.com/articles/205724-...ay-trade-coming We get Tommie Harris in the deal and give up a second and Josh Reed. Never would happen, but good post. I would love this trade. Harris is really good that why I dont believe it. Plus how could denver trade their 2 best offensive players to Bears? But pretty interesting stuff
toddgurley Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Already being discussed. yup-your right but c'mon, lable that thread better. I would have never read skooby's thread b/c of the way it is labeled.

Fingon Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 No way this happens. If healthy, Harris is the best DT in the NFL. If he's not healthy, then the Bears rip us off.
The Dean Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Regardless, it's being discussed and it's a dream. Did you ever comply with the moderator's request to change the subject line?
toddgurley Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Regardless, it's being discussed and it's a dream. Even thou its a dream, still a good find on this ridiculous article. Just make the labels better so I know what I am reading. That all i am saying

That all i am saying Agreed. Yes, I did change the label to reflect the most accurate representation of the article. It's an idea with no merit behind it / a dream scenario for the Bills.
