WellDressed Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 way too many to just use as slices...what should i do with them? probably not really sauce tomatoes, maybe i can make a salsa? what would y'all do? So, you're trying to move a few pounds of tomatoes eh?? Who did you whack to get these things? Where do you want to meet??
Dwight Drane Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Hire a stripper and play a game of washers. Over the nip is 2 points. A leaner on a boobie is 1 point. In all honesty, do what Chef Jim said, but I'd lose the liquid and add some squid and shrimp.
ExiledInIllinois Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 What, were they giving tomatoes out in lieu of trophies or ribbons? This is perhaps the most incongruous thread title I have ever seen. It was a swim meet... Tomatos have a very high water contant. Some varities of tomatos have 95% more water contant than a watermelon (according to WikiAnswers)...

I like to put tomato slices inside a grilled cheese sandwich. (before grilling)

ExiledInIllinois Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Yum! Yum! I know... The veggies are good for you but the sour cream is a heart attack waiting to happen... Well at least that and the salt is "cut" with vinegar!

gmac17 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Ingredients: 16 oz Elbow Macaroni 1/4 Stick of butter 3-4 Eggs 1 giant box of swim meet tomatoes Cooking Instructions: Boil Elbow Macaroni until soft. Drain as needed. Place Noodles in frying pan with 1/4 stick of butter and cook on low until half/most noodles get a crispy brown outside. Stir throughout cooking time so as not to have the noodles stick to frying pan. Next add the 3-4 eggs and stir so as to scramble them along with the noodles. Dice tomatoes and put into dish. When they are thouroughly scrambled and the noodles nice and crisp it's chow time Serving Suggestions: You can add some garlic salt or pickle juice for extra flavor upon finishing cooking.
