Toledo Bill Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 It wasn't a pick T, it was a fumble recovery. The return was a nice one 'til he ran out of gas, but the turnover itself was made by yet anotehr hustling effort from Fletcher. Cya 107007[/snapback] typical Fletcher... hustles and makes a great play and then starts celebrating instead of helping block...
jester43 Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 yeah, and apparently his act as worn off on stamer! wtf was that?! he makes 1 special teams tackle and all of a sudden he's dancing around like some kinda football ninja out there?! embarrassing!
Kgun5 Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Mcgee was clearly a goat yesterday. Yes, he picked up a fumble that bounced to him, which I guess could count towards his being in good position to make a play. He made a nice return, but that's his job (on KOs). Yet McCarrins had 163 yards, and at least 120 of those came against McGee coverage. He'll get better as he matures, but that has no bearing on how he played yesterday, which was terrible. That said, I'm hoping the return of Vincent will help McGee become a better corner. Terrence didn't get a whole heap of safety help yesterday, and should our pass rush keep developing, they'll be a lot less pressure on individuals once we are completely healthy in the secondary.
