I am curious. I am from Ontario and I always get the wings from there but I was wondering is the rest of their food good? I always want to try something different but I don't go often enough to order something different.

do something different and go to Duff's for the best wings in Buffalo

If all you are looking for is wings, I agree!

Best wings, awesome sauce and cold brew!

My parents moved to Buffalo last year, and when I went to visit over the holidays I went to Duffs.

Great wings! Way better than anything I can get here in Florida.

Not a big fan of duff's myself. If you like your wings really crispy they are very good. I actually cut my upper plate of mouth on a wing from there, and prefer a wing that has allot of sauce rather than super crispy myself.

John and Mary's is more my style of wings, but can see why people love duff's.

Duff's is awesome. And Gabriels Gate runs a close second IMO

I have never had anything but their wings, sorry. And as stated many times in this thread, the wings are overrated...

expand your horizons and give the Audubon North, on Sweethome road in amherst a try next time. it's a dive bar but the food is the best around...everything made right there on site......the chicken fingers are actual chicken breasts cut, breaded and fried......not frozen from a package....and the wings are big, to die for, and cheap!!!.....they have a 20 wings and pitcher of beer special for something like $15 i think.......certainly under $20......and usually a competent, but also attractive, female bartender......

Cole's are right there. And do not discount the Anchor Bar- especially if you're looking to get the full Buffalo experience, getting a seat in the live jazz room is always pleasant. Anchor Bar's wings are right there, it's just in a schitty part of town. And yes, it is a good restaurant, all of their food is good.

Seriously? Never been in there, but it's within staggering distance of my mom's house. Maybe I'll have to check it out sometime.

I dont like duffs, and I dont know anyone who does.

Interesting, everyone I know prefers Duff's to Anchor Bar..... was not impressed at all, when at Duff's the wings were so good I was thinking they might need a wheelbarrow to roll me to the car

Not everyone likes Duffs. Their wings tend to be relatively dry/crispy. If you like your wings like that, then you'll probably like Duffs. If you like your wings more saucy, you might not like Duffs.

Lots of places in WNY have good/great wings. I haven't been to Hemmingways downtown in many years, but every time I had wings there they were big and great.

interesting how the thread turned to duff's and wings but little about the anchor bar.

You can order your wings at Duff's any way you like them...more saucy, dry with sauce on the side, etc.

My last two times at Anchor Bar, the wings were served about half cooked, still pink on the inside. I'll never eat there again, and to anyone considering going there, you have been warned!
