Lori Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 By the way, it's Monte and he has one of the best records of any PGA or European Pro's to ever play in the Ryder Cup. He can play and win here. He could have won the US Open if he hadn't clubbed down to an 8 iron and left it short on the 72nd hole. Which was the same year Michelson had his fun on 18 as well. http://www.colinmontgomerie.com/pages/realmonty.html
Simon Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 http://www.colinmontgomerie.com/pages/realmonty.html Wow, this guy's not too full of himself. From his own website: "Colin Montgomerie is one of his generation’s most recognisable and endearing sports stars" "Colin, known affectionately to millions around the world as “Monty”, is one of Britain’s most admired sportsmen" "he emerged as a figurehead for the Team and his self-control and outstanding performances drew accolades from across the sporting spectrum" "Colin Montgomerie’s name is synonymous with quality.... he is an intelligent and articulate sportsman..." Can't understand why so many would think he's an ass. Aside from how he conducts himself on a golf course that is ....

WellDressed Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Ok Mr. Fancy Pants. What are you, some kind of European!? We're in America boy! [/Hank Hill] Nah man, I feel for him though, he's a winner. I really wanted him to win the '06 Open at Shinnecock.
WellDressed Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 You agree that the word " courage" should be used? They had to be ready to play "golf" at any moment. "Courage'? Please be clear on you point before this whole board climbs on top you're post, and castrates your ass. "Courage? Dude? No, not in agreement with courage at all, but exhausted is very understandable.
