But in that short time, the adult female can lay as many as 2,000 eggs. In warm weather, those eggs hatch in eight to 10 hours, creating new flies that continue breeding. “The housefly can also transmit parasitic worms and cause skin infections. Furthermore, it leaves droppings on food and dishes, which may lead to contamination of food," How dare anyone kill such a cute, cuddly, and misunderstood animal.
