Bill from NYC Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 1) Let us all pray for Mike Williams. 2) Tucker played as well as anyone on the team today. Heavy statement? Yes, but after watching him on every play, I am stating that he did a GREAT job!!!!!!!!! 3) CV was also splendid. This MIGHT be the best pair of OGs on the Bills in 10 years. 4) Like Drew, hate Drew, I dont care, but if you think that he played poorly today, you know little to nothing about football. 5) Kelsay stepped out today, and this is just great! Think about it....we just might have a pair very good DEs! These are players that are hard to get, and this would serve as a HUGE edge to the Bills on Draft Day. They could focus elsewhere. 6) Please come back Troy Vincent! If he was there, the jests would probably have scored 10 points or less. 7) It will be tough, but if we can beat the pats we are in this race, however slight the chances are. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ICE Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 Here let me throw the cold water..... IF we can string together 4 more wins over the next 4 games THEN we have something to crow about. Good game? Sure. Now do it consistantly esp ON THE ROAD.
JStranger76 Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 Hey Bill, I got blacked out down here in Tenn. today. Who started on the O line today? Sounds like they played well again. Drew has not been sacked the last two games!!!! I know you gotta like that!
Astrobot Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 6) Please come back Troy Vincent! If he was there, the jests would probably have scored 10 points or less. Any more word on whether he's returning as CB or Safety? I vote CB! McGee was deked for 155 yards out of the 207 yards racked up by Pennington and Carter.

One against a very good Jets team (who they flat out dominated physically in this game). The O Line hasn't given up a sack in the past 2 games and Willis is on fire. I ask you, if we can't be happy now, WHEN THE HECK CAN WE BE?! Who cares about the playoff picture right now. Just look at how much this team has improved over the past 4 weeks and you have to be happy with the progress. And if you can't see the progress that this team is making, then you are trying too hard to be negative. So take your cold water elsewhere

GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 106445[/snapback] it's really, really nice to know that next week's primetime game actually means something. a win and the bills get themselves in the thick of the wild card race. let's ride mcgahee's horse as far as it will take us. i agree with your #6 whole-heartedly. we need TV back next week. my hope is that drew bledsoe can become trent dilfer. he did it today. if he can prolong it, the bills have a shot this year.

Oh well. Now we have JP.

The Bills now have 2 divisional wins. IF, again, IF they could beat NE, that would make 3. Am I jumoing the gun? Perhaps, but I am taken aback by the play at the OG position. This is HUGE!!!!!!! We are a very good defensive football team, injuries notwithstanding. Now, the offense is clicking. MaGahee is the man! Travis Gump is gone! Evans is learning. Drew has weapons, and MM is NOT GW. There are positive signs. If we lose to NE, yes, it looks bad, but quite a few players on the Buffalo Bills played a great game today. Enjoy!
JStranger76 Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 Bill, where did Tucker play today? Game was blacked out till 5 minutes left down here, so I didn't really get to watch the Oline as much as I usually do. Somebody throw me a friggen bone here.
Coach Tuesday Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 Don't forget about the play of Lawyer Milloy - why aren't folks talking about this? He was the best player on the field today - made a huge difference.

The guy was awesome, and I am a tough critic, would you agree?

That's why it looked so often like McGee was on an island. One particular play, Reese had deep responsibility and McGee had the outside. Reese totally whiffed and McGee came off and made the tackle after about a 20 yard gain. Made it look like he blew his coverage. Oh, and he should change his damn shoes. I don't know what the problem is but he slips WAY too often.
JStranger76 Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 Yeah, you have your days, but so do I! That is great to hear though. Two games in a row without friggen Drew getting sacked? Who around here would of thought that?!!!! I've been pulling for this move and I'm estatic Tucker did well. Hopefully Big Mike is OK cause our run blocking as a whole is getting better and better.

I am in Nashville and Direct TV had it blocked cause it was on my local CBS channel..
JStranger76 Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 40 min. south of Knoxville. IT SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Luckily, I was flipping through and it came on with 6 min. left in the 4th. Local stations won't be available here till Dec. 3 but on that day I'll get em' for free. DirectTV got a pretty nasty phone call from me today at about 7 min. after 1:00.
