ieatcrayonz Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Article I couldn't find the old thread about the cat killings in Florida. They arrested an 18 year old pot head and it looks like the case may be solved. For more than a month after that, gutted cats with crushed skulls appeared on owners' lawns in Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay. In most cases, there was no blood near the carcass, leading some to believe they were killed elsewhere and then dumped Court records show that Weinman was also arrested May 29 for possession of cannabis.
stuckincincy Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Divorce won't mess with a kid's head at all. What about "quality time"?
PushthePile Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 This kids mother is a life coach. What is that? I've heard the term before but I don't exactly know what it means. If somebody could clue me in I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

The Poojer Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 sadly i have a couple of friends that are 'life coaches'...i think it is a generic term for psychologist and psychiatrist wanna be's...Dr. Phil would be an example of a life coach.... Jim in Anchorage Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 ''I'm glad he's 18, because now he can be tried as an adult,'' she said. ``If he's in prison for life, that would suit me just fine.''
ieatcrayonz Posted June 15, 2009 Author Posted June 15, 2009 That same lady was probably protesting keeping prisoners at Gitmo.
Magox Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Kid needs to go to jail for a long time and be under severe psychiatric care. Classic symptom of a future serial killer, animal mutilation.
FloridaSnow Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 That same lady was probably protesting keeping prisoners at Gitmo. You make that assumption under what premise? Because she owned a cat and is enraged that it was killed? The crime seems pretty heartless. I hope he gets the severest penalty possible. Hell, I'd be fine with letting the dead cats' owners publicly stone the little bastard to death.
bbb Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 What a friggin scumbag. I don't know what I'd do to him if he did that stuff to my cat.

Steely Dan Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Kid needs to go to jail for a long time and be under severe psychiatric care. Classic symptom of a future serial killer, animal mutilation. I believe the law in Florida for killing animals is 5 years. He's charged with 18 counts as well as burglary charges. If he is convicted of all 18 and given the max sentence in consecutive terms he will be in for 90 years. I highly doubt he'll get anything close to that. I'm guessing 20 years and paroled approx. 10 years in. I hope psychological care can cure him of the uncontrollable urge to kill.

Thanks Poojer. I figured that's what it meant but I wasn't sure.
ieatcrayonz Posted June 16, 2009 Author Posted June 16, 2009 I hope psychological care can cure him of the uncontrollable urge to kill. You've done a terrific job of diagnosing him from mere newspaper reports. With all your insight, shouldn't you volunteer to help him?

In the time that those cats were killed there were also more than that number of people killed. How much outrage have you read about those stories? Do you think maybe we can pick up Donte Stallworth on the waiver wire? People give more of a crap about animals than they give about other people. It is fine to give a crap about cats, but at least give a crap about people too.
Kevbeau Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I hope psychological care can cure him of the uncontrollable urge to kill. Anyone willing to risk it? He should be put down and save someone the future loss & sorrow.
Guest three3 Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 yes, smoking marijuana is the reason why he killed all those cats. everyone knows that if you smoke marijuana you will, inevitably, torture cats. sin, http://www.celebstoner.com/20080521720/cel...lebstoners.html
