CosmicBills Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 On the Gameday thread I gave Jordan a big :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: for his cheap shot. I just hear Moorman on the postgame show talk about how Jordan came over to him after the game and appologized to him saying, "I wouldn't have done that had I realized you were the kicker". So, Mr. Jordan, I appologize and retract my :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
MadBuffaloDisease Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 Classy on Jordan's part, but what he did was totally legal, and I'd expect a Bills player to do the same to an opponent's kicker. Ir Moorman wants to mix-it-up with the big boys, he's got to take his licks. And I love him for that, in a totally manly, heterosexual way (although that bald head of his...).
bartshan-83 Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 What a $%&$%&*#$%&*#$ING shot! I too felt the same thing but Jordan wasn't celebrating or smiling on the sideline so I gave him a pass. Nothing like Warren Sapp :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
kota Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 It was a clean hit no big deal. Jordan did feel bad about it you could see it on his face. He layed the kicker out. If Moorman is ok with it then everyone else should be too.

My first thought was "Can anything else go right for New England??" With the Bills being on a roll they would have to go into NE minus Moorman and having already lost Mike Williams....thank goodness it wasn't serious.
Ramius Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 And I love him for that, in a totally manly, heterosexual way (although that bald head of his...). 106409 ah simple, you have a man crush on Brian Moorman...its ok, we all have them...i had a man crush on Josh Reed until hes been unable to cure his dropsies...i had to dump him... now its between Willis and Lee ...*sigh*
Alaska Darin Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 There is an unwritten rule about going after the other team's kicker. Hence the reason you rarely see it. There's always the chance for retaliation. Still, it was something to watch... Ouch.
TheMadCap Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 It was a fair play, Moorman got splattered. He needs to be more careful...
CootieHog Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 Man, I'm glad Moorman is okay cuz he had the CootieSnot knocked out of him.
Nanker Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 ah simple, you have a man crush on Brian Moorman...its ok, we all have them...i had a man crush on Josh Reed until hes been unable to cure his dropsies...i had to dump him... now its between Willis and Lee ...*sigh* 106464 Ramius, get a grip please! The old capt'n been out to sea a bit too long?
Kelly the Dog Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 After they got him off the field, I saw Moorman laughing with the trainers, who were harrassing him. He was fine.
outsidethebox Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 It's like going in the PPP forum. You have to keep your head up or your going to get creamed . I know how Moorman feels, Just keep your head up brian, keep your head up.
cåblelady Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 "I wouldn't have done that had I realized you were the kicker". 106403 Hmmm. Let's see. Moorman wears a single digit on his jersey and Jordan didn't realize he was the kicker?
