Of course it would NOT be for protection, if something gets contaminated... You would just throw it away... Why spread it around... Of course the person is contaminated... But, they can be scrubbed down ala Karen Silkwood. With that, my guess is a couple fold: 1. Disposable 2. It is the uniform...
